WORD LIVE IN LIBRARIES – workshop

Thursday, October 19

Word Live In Libraries is a tour of diverse authors and creative practitioners to 20 libraries across the South West of England, beginning in May 2023.

Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, the tour is organised by South Western Regional Library Services CIO (SWRLS) in partnership with Literature Works.

This event sees Sarah Howe lead a workshop, focus group and talk at Plymouth Central Library on 19th October.

A writing workshop with poet Sarah Howe, thinking about how language might help us encounter the world afresh, in all its vividness. Together we’ll look at a handful of contemporary poems, and try our hands at some writing prompts and exercises, suitable for beginners and more experienced writers alike.
