Further details about the Headline Act…

Pete “the Temp” Bearder is an award-winning spoken word poet, author and comic. His work has been featured on BBC Radio 4, The World Service, and Newsnight.

Emmy the Harp is a classically trained harpist with a lifelong dedication to her craft. Her collaborations include duets and bands ranging from prog-rock to afrobeat.

Their new show ‘Gardens of Madness’ is a theatrical fusion of orchestral harp, loop machines and experimental spoken word. Garden of Madness is compelling, empowering and absurd. It speaks to the mental health crisis, riffs on mystical traditions and sings of a love of Nature. Expect a one-of-a-kind act of rapture. Laugh, dance and prepare to be enchanted. A work in progress of the show was performed in 2022 at Shambala Festival, Green Gathering and the Totnes Barrel House.
