The Mississippi Dreamboats

Sunday, August 21

All the way from the North-east of England, the Mississippi Dreamboats are a top rated traditional jazz band led by Paul & Liz Bacon. Inspired by the revival bands of the 1940s 50s and 60’s, Paul and Liz have been playing together for over 40 years and surround themselves with musicians that help the band to have an authentic but fresh sound to their chosen genre of jazz. The probable line-up includes Liz Bacon clarinet, Derek Winters trumpet, Jim Blenkin trombone, Paul Bacon drums, Sarah Thatcher banjo, Mike Kennedy bass.

Admission £12 (Members £9, Full-Time Students £6)

This event will take place at the Royal British Legion Club, Tailyour Road, Crownhill, Plymouth, PL6 5DH.
