Tamerton Foliot May carnival

Saturday, May 7

This year’s carnival will take place on Saturday 7th May 2022 at Wadlands Meadow, Tamerton Foliot, Plymouth, PL5 4NH.

This year’s theme is: Kings and Queens

The carnival consists of a procession and a fair. The May Queen, the Lord Mayor, and a marching band lead the procession of community groups down through the village to Wadlands Meadow where a fair which consists of entertainment, small stalls, and fairground stalls takes place.

The procession- starts at noon from the top of the village all are welcome, the theme this year is kings and queens. We would love for the local to get involved in this and take part in the procession. Clubs, groups, neighbours etc it’s for anyone and everyone to join in
