Script-in-Hand Theatre: “It Shouldn’t Be Like This.”

Wednesday, December 6

“It Shouldn’t Be Like This.”
A new play written by Jenny and Paul Shryane about homelessness in Plymouth.
It is early November in Plymouth. Mayflower Street. Five characters wait. They talk, they bicker and they wait.
Each one has a story to tell. What do they have in common? They have no place to call “home”.
So they wait for the Soup Run to arrive..
The 5 characters are fictional, but their situations are not. This year, the number of people sleeping rough in Plymouth has increased by 15%.

The performance is free but donations are welcomed please. The proceeds will be donated to local charities.
