Safer Streets Workshops

Thursday, August 11

WonderZoo are teaming up with Shekinah Restore Mutley to host four ‘Safer Streets’ workshops in their charity shop, which will bring people together to learn about Consent, Sexual Communication and Self- Defence, all with the aim of informing and empowering participants to feel safer in their daily lives, particularly in response to the recent tragic events in the city.

Each 2 hour workshop (6-8pm) will offer an opportunity for discussion and to come up with something creative in relation to the topics discussed. On December 15th there will be a Shekinah Christmas Show where participants can have the chance to perform their creative pieces in front of an audience.

The dates for the four workshops are: 11th August, 15th September, 13th October, and 10th November, funded by Plymouth Octopus Project.
