ReBels Writers’ Lab with Plymouth’s Laureate Of Words Laura Horton.
This is an opportunity for emerging writers to explore different writing techniques, try out ideas and share their writing in a safe space.
Professional writer, Laura Horton will facilitate each lab and also share her month to month writing process and give you an insight into her way of working.
In March and April the sessions will prepare you for an optional sharing of your work, giving you a chance to either stage your script with Barbican Theatre performers, place it in an anonymous art show, share your work as an Open Mic or perform your spoken word in a City Centre showcase – Plymouth In Its Prime.
The Labs happen the last Thursday of the month, at Barbican Theatre.
There will be lots of time to talk, write, share and listen.

Thursday 28 April 2022 5pm – 8pm
You can book to attend one, two, three or all four sessions. There is no minimum or maximum limit.
