Plymouth Summer Sessions

Tom Jones and Gabrielle

He has cemented his place in music history as one of the most successful artists of all time, traversing musical eras and genres, and appealing to all genders and ages.

Also set to grace the stage is Gabrielle, who emerged in the early ’90s with her soulful voice and decade-defining hits including ‘Out Of Reach’. With 30 years of her multi-platinum selling single ‘Dreams’, Gabrielle has surpassed over 50,000 ticket sales for her tour.

Cassyette is a British rock singer and songwriter , described as a Nu Metal “pop provocateur” and “the electro-pop electro-pop princess to keep on your radar”.

Composer, singer-songwriter, actor, author, and activist Stingwas born in Newcastle, England. As one of the world’s most distinctive solo artists, Sting has received an 11 GRAMMY Awards®, two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, four Oscar nominations, a TONY nomination, Billboard Magazine’s Century Award, and MusiCares 2004 Person of the Year. In 2003, he was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for his myriad of contributions to music. Throughout his illustrious career, Sting has sold 100 million albums from his combined work with The Police and as a solo artist.

Singer-songwriter Harry, guitarist and co-writer Chris Stein, powerhouse drummer Clem Burke and their band-mates in Blondieare undeniable pop icons, their sound and sensibility as fresh as when they first topped the charts in the late 1970s. In their newest project, Po11inator, Blondie enlisted a group of cool songwriters to contribute to the record weaving their own way into the living, breathing story of Blondie, a group that directly affected their own genetic makeup as artists.
