PETROL HEADZ at THÊ DEPØ VENUE

Wednesday, August 25

An energetic, exciting and fun night showcasing the street culture surrounding the modified car scene. Featuring sound systems, parkour stunts, modified cars, dancers, DJs and MC battles. Plus it’s Pay What You Decide so you only pay afterwards if you liked it (which we’re so sure you will!)

As part of PETROL HEADZ ON TOUR there will be 4 shows at THÊ DEPØ Venue club – high energy shows celebrating nightlife, street culture and the unique talents that Plymouth has to offer.

With gravity defying stunts from Plymouth Parkour, we’ll draw you into a world of Drum and Bass and DJ battles, dance parties and drift car footage and take you on a journey into our love affair with the modified car scene. Featuring platinum-selling DJ Charlotte DeVaney and Maddy V and dancers from across Plymouth.

*** Show times ***
Wednesday 25 August 7pm & 9pm
Thur 26 August 7pm & 9pm

Shows last around 1 hr 15 mins and there will be a bar open in Thê Depø Venue for to enjoy a drink before and while you watch the shows. This is a strictly over 18s event and photo ID may be required as proof of age.

There is no seating provided for this event. If you have any access requirements please contact us by emailing info@barbicantheatre.co.uk

*** Pay What You Decide ***This show is a Pay What You Decide performance, which means you get to decide how much you pay!

Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, and you can pay what you decide when you book or you can wait to pay until after you have seen the show. We want to encourage more people to come and see shows, more often.

We want you to feel you can take a risk, try watching something new and get a chance to see new types of shows, and encounter stories you’ve not heard before. This might be your first opportunity to step inside a theatre- we look forward to seeing you here. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.

You can’t pay more than how much you have in your pocket, in your budget. There is no ‘right’ answer, we are not attempting to lead you to a specific figure. You can pay £0 for your ticket. If you have any questions that will help please drop as an email.

The artists/practitioners/professionals taking part in this show have all been paid out of funding received from Arts Council England, Garfield Western Foundation and Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. Their generous support helps us bring exciting new companies to Plymouth. Any money you pay to see the show enables us to keep bringing shows, employing artists and developing the voices of young creatives in Plymouth.
