PCEP Forum 6: With Flying Colours Session 1- A Strategic Lens

Wednesday, September 20

You are invited to the sixth in a series of events being delivered by Plymouth Cultural Education Partnership during 2023.

You are invited to join the next PCEP forum event sharing the learning, recommendations and highlights from the With Flying Colours Project which has been delivering in Plymouth for the past 4 years.

Join us on Wednesday 20th September at TR2 to share the learning coming from With Flying Colours, how that can support future creative education projects in the city and celebrate the achievements of the project.

With Flying Colours Session 1- A Strategic Lens

Session 1- A Strategic Lens, will focus on how recommendations from the project can shape future partnership working in Plymouth. We’ll explore how the learnings of With Flying Colours can be employed on future strategic opportunities in the city and establish how the project’s legacy can flourish in Plymouth. We’ll utilise the project’s evaluation to unpick how models of co-creation were delivered on the project and explore how they can inform future creative education opportunities across the city. We’ll reflect on the value of partnership working for schools and cultural partners in the city and identify the key takeaways around working collaboratively with schools on performance-based projects.

We’ll hear from the project team, a keynote speaker (TBC!), independent evaluator Lizzie Hilton and a youth panel to hear varying perspectives of the With Flying Colours Project. The project will also premiere their Year 4 Evaluation and Documentary films.

The hosts:

The event is hosted by Plymouth Cultural Education Partnership (PCEP): a strategic collaboration between cultural, educational, community and youth organisations across the city.  PCEP seeks to address inequality in Plymouth by ensuring all children and young people have access to a high quality arts and cultural education offer that responds to their needs.  The PCEP Strategic Objectives are to improve quantity, quality and access to cultural education for children and young people.
