Not the Art Weekender @ Leadworks

Saturday, September 25

Three incredible art exhibitions at Leadworks:

Allusive Lines Pt 2 – a painting and drawing response by four artists into what it means to be human. Four lines of inquiry into the depths of the human condition stretch into the realms of vocalising present fears and anxieties. An embodied immersion into the landscape. An exploration of the human form through colour, line and mark making, and an examination of red’s influence on the human psyche.

Archive – As artists we have responded in different ways: producing new work on the theme of archive, storage and categorisation reworking archived works and ideas, or drawing from our own archives by selecting and showing work that has not been seen for a period of time.

Crucible – a (metal or ceramic) container in which substances may be melted or subjected to high temperatures. A situation of severe trial or one in which different elements interact leading to the creation of something new.
