National Marine Park Big Blue Splash

The National Marine Park Big Blue Splash is coming to Plymouth Sound on 23 and 24 July 2022, giving everyone the chance to try out an amazing range of activities on, in and next to the ocean.

Both adults and children will be encouraged to dive in and try out something new across the weekend.

Activities

Taster sessions out on the water will include stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, guided snorkelling, open water swimming and even SUP yoga – the ultimate test of balance with yoga on a paddle board.

On shore activities include rock pooling, art workshops, the chance to try e-bikes and even plogging – a combination of jogging and litter picking that’s beneficial for wellbeing and for the environment.

Where is it?

Activities will take place at Tinside Lido, the Hoe Foreshore, Mount Edgcumbe, Mount Batten and at Firestone Bay.

How to book

All the details about how to book will be announced soon – keep an eye on the Plymouth Sound National Marine Park social channels (@plymsoundnmp) for the latest updates.
