LET’S PRINT! – Community Big Lino Free Print

Saturday, August 19

Take part in creating a stunning collection of bird prints, each one a testament to the talent and diversity within our community.

Birds of Feather Flock Together – Free Collaborative Linocut for Summer Holidays.

An unforgettable community event celebrating art, creativity, and the beauty of nature!

Join us at the Ocean Studio Cafe in creating our Annual Community Print every Saturday starting from 22nd July between 10am and12.30pm during the summer holidays.

Engage your artistic side as you draw and carve your very own bird design onto massive block of lino shaped as a bird. Our friendly facilitators will be there to guide you every step of the way.

Once linocut carving is complete, come and help our expert printers work their magic, transferring your masterpiece onto paper. By the end of summer, we’ll have a stunning collection of bird prints, each one a testament to the talent and diversity within our community. The linocut will be printed the weekend of 2nd September 2023.

But it’s not just about the art – the Ocean Studio Cafe offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can connect with fellow participants and what better way to fuel your creative energy than with a cup of our finest coffee, refreshing beverage, snack or an ice-cream while overlooking the breathtaking ocean view?

Bring your family, bring your friends, and let’s create something extraordinary together. The event is completely free, making it accessible to everyone who wishes to participate.

Using linocut tools will be for children 8yrs and above. Younger children can take part in the drawing part. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Last year, at Ocean Studios we created a beautiful large circular print based on the fauna and flora of the sea which was carved by more than 200 people.
