Lampshade making workshop

Sunday, September 26

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. Using your own fabric, you will learn hoe to construct and make your very own 30cm diameter lampshade.

After your workshop enjoy either a tea, coffee or soft drink with a delicious piece of cake in restaurant at The Box – all included in the price!

Choose to make your lampshade with either a ceiling or standing fitting which will perfectly compliment your interior.

All you need to do is bring a pair of scissors and your own fabric at least 1m x 30 cm, nothing too heavy, textured or heavily embellished. A medium weight cotton, linen or polyester cotton is perfect. Keep it plain or use a gorgeous print to make an interior design statement. All other materials to make the shades will be supplied. There is no sewing required.
