Experimental Figurative Art Workshop

A one day workshop offering the opportunity to develop your creative figurate work.

A one day experimental figurative art workshop suitable for beginners and those with experience. Supported by artist Kathy Wray working from the historic St Saviours Hall on the Barbican.

We will begin with warm up, movement and breathing exercises and exploratory mindfulness mark-making, exploring materials with experimental approaches and music.

Then taking these approaches into working from a clothed model for part of the day as well as your own personal approaches.

This will be an opportunity to unleash your creativity (and working from the model is optional too). Bring any ideas, research and personal art projects you wish to share – with the aim for time to gain guidance and direction towards personal goals.

Materials provided, bring any specific art materials you may wish to use.

Light refreshments available teas coffees etc Shops and cafes on Barbican only 5 mins away.
