Dawn Chorus Walk with Plymouth Urban Tree Festival

Saturday, May 11

Join Andrew Godden for an introduction to the birds which make up the glorious dawn chorus

Experience the magnificent dawn chorus in Central Park.

Join Andrew Godden for a fascinating introduction to the various birds making up the dawn chorus. Learn to identify the different calls of the bird species that inhabit our urban trees, and gain an insight into common bird behaviours.

This will be a gentle walk around Central Park, with some slopes. Wear sturdy footwear and wrap up warm. Binoculars helpful but not essential.

We will meet outside the Meadow Café in Central Park (near the large children’s play area and skate park) – a short walk from the Life Centre Car Park (Mayflower Drive B).

This event is happening on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
