‘Continuous Partial Attention’

Thursday, May 23

Dylan Harvey, a soon-to-be graduate theatre director from Plymouth Conservatoire, showcases his end-of-degree production ‘Continuous Partial Attention’ on The House Stage, Drake Circus.

“to be busy, to be connected…
is to be alive, to be recognised…
and to matter…”

Focus is our currency. We spend time. We pay attention. We’re all doing too many things at once, failing too often. Always thinking ahead and never satisfied.

We’re lost in an artificial crisis of our own making.
Always next, next, next, next.

Let’s unplug and rewind to a simpler state of being. One where being present in the moment is sufficient. One where taking one step at a time is enough.
