Chris Walker and The Pedigree Jazz Band

Sunday, March 20

In their show “SALUTE TO TRAD JAZZ the Pedigree Jazz Band play the most popular tunes of the “Trad Era”, such as ‘Midnight in Moscow’, ‘Petite Fleur’, ‘Green Leaves Of Summer’ and many others. The band has proved to be a resounding success, with rave reviews and repeat bookings from nearly everywhere they perform.

Chris Walker, leader and clarinet, has led the Chris Walker Swingtet for thirty years, which is still going strong. and has featured with the London City Stompers and later, Mike Daniels, Colin Kingwell’s Jazz Bandits and The Real Ale & Thunder Band. He has carefully selected five talented and experienced jazz musicians to form this band. Live, or re-live the experience of the ’50s & 60s “trad boom”!
