Bridging the Tamar Anchorage Guided Tour

Sunday, January 8

Join us to find out more about what goes on behind the scenes at the Tamar Bridge. You’ll go inside the anchorage and see an area normally closed to the public.

The tour starts in the Visitor and Learning Centre before walking to the anchorage. This gives visitors a different perspective of the structure as you look up and across the underside of the bridge. The tour will then enter one of the bridge’s anchorage chambers. This area is not accessible to the public but is vital to the structure.

Meeting at Bridging the Tamar Visitor and Learning Centre. More details HERE.

Tour lasts approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Please note a minimum age of 11 years applies to this tour. Given the nature of the location of the anchorage, we may not be able to meet certain specific accessibility requirements. Please get in touch if you’d like more information on this.

£10 per person – Tickets HERE.
