Black History Month: Cultural Food Demonstrations

Monday, October 24

We would like to invite you to take part in our food demonstration celebrating Black History Month in Plymouth!

About this event
Black History Month was founded to recognise the contributions that people of African and Caribbean backgrounds have made to the UK over many generations, and over the years Black History Month has expanded to include the history of not just African and Caribbean people but black people in general. This year we are putting together a whole month of events to celebrate and raise awareness of Black History in Plymouth. These events are to help increase the visibility of the diverse communities, business owners, organisations and networks that are in Plymouth and help our friends, neighbours, partners and ourselves become leaders in addressing diversity issues.

We have partnered up with City College Plymouth to host a series of Food Demonstrations with some amazing chefs in Plymouth. The aim is to teach important cultural dishes to those wanting to learn, these tickets are for anyone wanting to be a part of the LIVE AUDIENCE on the day.

So get booking as we SELL OUT every session!

Please register HERE.

If you wish to register without using Eventbrite, or if you have any questions regarding the event please contact: info@dbi.org.uk
