Unleash your creativity, infuse playfulness into your writing and gain valuable insights on marketing yourself and your work.

Beyond Face invite you to a two-part workshop exploring playfulness and marketing yourself and your work.

Part 1: Playfulness in Writing

An opportunity to rediscover joy within your writing. Be guided through exercises to find different perspectives and routes into finding characters, scenarios, metaphors and tapping into your imagination to tell the stories you didn’t even realise you could dream up! Suitable for all levels.

Part 2: How do you market yourself and your work?

Want to find a new angle to talk about your work? Got a bio that you need to write or could do with freshening up? Come along to this workshop to support you in telling the the story of your work, finding your audience and come away with the tools to shout about your practice confidently and passionately.

Please Note: This workshop is a space for those who identify as Global Majority*

*Global Majority includes people who are from African and Caribbean diasporas, people who are South Asian, East Asian, South East Asian, North African, Middle Eastern, and ethnically mixed heritages.

Beyond Face’s mission is to be at the forefront of providing opportunities for artists of the Global Majority to live, work and thrive in the South West theatre sector. We aim to reframe the narrative around what is perceived as quality and to bring focus to the region.
