An Afternoon with the Plymouth Proprietary Library

Saturday, January 21

An interview with Babs and Laura Horton. Babs is an award-winning novelist. Her recent play ‘In the Lady Garden’ had a sell-out run in Plymouth. Laura is the Plymouth Laureate of Words. Her play ‘Breathless’ opens in London in 2023.

A talk on the history of the Plymouth Proprietary Library founded in 1810. Despite being destroyed in WW2, the library still operates to this day.

Both events take place at the Redeemer Church (next door to the Plymouth Proprietary Library)

£5 for all. Pay at the door or in the library beforehand.
