Borrow Don’t Buy CIC – Plymouth’s Library of Things

Borrow Don’t Buy is Plymouth’s Library of Things. We believe “You should have access to the stuff you need without costing the Earth”. We’re like a normal library, but with things instead of books! What kind of things? All the sorts of things you need. Perhaps you’re doing some DIY and need a drill? Maybe you’re having friends over and you’d like a projector to watch a film on? Why buy an electric drill when you’ll only ever use it once, with the average use of a drill in its lifetime being just a mere 13 minutes!

Our aim is to make more things accessible to the people of Plymouth at a low cost to prevent unnecessary buying. This saves our members money, reduces clutter in their homes and perhaps most importantly, helps people reduce their carbon footprints! It is free to sign up, then you choose a membership that suits you and just like that, you are a Borrower!
