Live at the Lido

Something’s been stirring in the waters!

Proudly putting Plymouth’s stunning fore shore centre stage, ‘Live at the Lido’ welcomes for the very first time Global artists and performers, to one of the most recognisable and beautiful Lidos in the World!

Situated prominently on Plymouth’s beautiful waterfront, and bathed in nearly a century of history and nostalgia, ‘Live at the Lido’ will bring this stunning vantage point to life with music, sun sets, and those incredible panoramic vistas across Plymouth Sound and Drake’s Island.

We are incredibly thrilled to announce this special programme of music events, taking place during July and August, pioneering the use of the Tinside Lido Sun Terrace as never seen before.

Spanning four weekend dates, and the culmination of a city wide collaboration across Plymouth, involving both Cultural and Music sectors, this unique series of events will be taking place at the No.1 outdoor pool in the UK, as listed by Marie Claire Magazine, right here in Britain’s Ocean City.

‘Live at the Lido’ will see Global artists, DJs and Brands such as Todd Terry, Café Mambo Ibiza and Hedkandi, perform alongside the very best of the city’s cultural and musical talent, from the likes of the Barbican Theatre and DancersHip.

This exciting project has only been made possible by the considerable and collective effort of numerous city institutions, and organisations, such as Plymouth Culture, Plymouth Active, Barbican Theatre, The Box, Plymouth CityBus, The Big Blue Splash and the launch of the National Marine Park.
